ISLAMABAD, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Foreign exchange reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan have increased by 22 million U.S. dollars, according to a statement issued by the central bank on Thursday.
During the week ending on Sept. 19, the total foreign exchange reserves of the bank stood at about 14.38 billion dollars, the bank said.
Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came in at around 5.41 billion dollars.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the South Asian country were recorded at around 19.79 billion dollars. ■
